ADHD Screening

ASRS-v1.1 Part A

This is the WHO Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale, version 1.1, Part A. It is six questions long and takes about 2 minutes. It is the same screener your GP would use.

Before you start

It is normal to feel nervous about this. Most people taking this test already suspect the answer. That is fine. Whatever the result, you will know more than you did five minutes ago.

Answer each question based on how you have felt and conducted yourself over the past six months. There are no trick questions. Go with your first instinct.

Important

  • This is a screening tool, not a diagnosis.
  • A high score does not mean you have ADHD. A low score does not mean you do not.
  • Only a qualified clinician can diagnose ADHD.
  • If you score above the threshold, speak to your GP about a referral.
